BEWARE COWARD!! Feel warmly welcomed to the BITS Online Grab Fest! This website features a multitude of grabs taken from the Channel 4 show BITS. So what exactly IS 'BITS' I hear you cry ... ? Hokay, BITS is a late night computer game / gadget review show that was shown on Channel 4 (as part of 4Later). The late night edition covered the more 'grown up' and 'violent' side of computer games plus has a smattering of harsh language and wanton equipment destruction thrown in. There also used to be an occasional watered down Sunday morning version which had the kiddy game reviews (including that bloody cowing Pokιmon rubbish). What made the show even more interesting is that it had three female presenters. There's Aleks Krotoski (the American one), Emily Newton Dunn (the smart one) and Emily 'Bouff' Booth (the cute one) who replaced Claudia Trimde (the German one). The show had just the right balance of interesting game reviews and features interspersed with Xmas Chortles style arseing around. Classic stuff!!
So what's the purpose of this website then? Simple - to bring you lots of pics of the girls from BITS!! I'm a fan of both the show and the girls (one in particular! Hehe!) and as I couldn't find any similar sites on the net I thought I'd go about putting one together myself. I'm sure there are plenty of other BITS fans out there who will enjoy this website which is reason enough to put all this together. Another thing that inspired me to create this site is although there is already an official BITS website, the pics on it were a tad titchy - although they have now added the facility to enlarge some of the grabs and have added some picture galleries to the site (nice one!) Pictures not displaying? If you are seeing unsightly boxes with a little red cross in the corner then you could be suffering from 'not enough bandwidth-itis'. Not your fault of course, my lovely ISP may not be giving my site enough bandwidth to show all the images. They ARE all on the server so all you need to do is right click on the box and select 'Show Picture'. This is especially important in the gallery thumbnail sections - cos you will want to know what the pics are before you download 'em I expect!
To view the BITS pics simply choose the section you would like to visit from the list below and it will activate in this main window. You can also use the buttons on the left to jump to the different sections. You can return to this main page at any time by clicking the 'BITS Grab Fest' logo above the buttons on the left. Once a gallery has activated you will be shown thumbnails of all the available pictures. Click on a thumbnail to open a larger version of the picture along with a small description. Feel free to leave some comments about this web site, the Bits girls or whatever in the Bits Grab Fest Chat Forum ...

There's separate pictures of each Bits babe along with a 'mixed' picture section which features pics of two or all three of the girls together (fnarr!) You may notice a 'slight' bias towards Emily Booth with these pictures because she's actually the reason I made this site in the first place ... !
Do you have any pics of the girls that aren't already on this site? If you do then PLEASE email them to me. I'll make sure you receive a credit on this site for any pictures you send in. I'm after decent quality grabs from the early shows along with ANY good quality pics of the girls (stuff taken with a camera would be nice!) Ta!
For a bit of a chortle I decided to enter the Bits geek compo ... Although I don't really regard myself as a classic 'geek' (I ain't spotty and I don't wear glasses etc.) I *am* a die-hard gamer with a passion for old and new computers and consoles. But as I don't do anything by halves I decided to knock up an online entry for the compo which featured more info and pics than I could possibly email the Bits team. All my hard work paid off and I was featured Bits on the show that first aired on October 30th 2000! I've included grabs and audio clips from my appearance on Bits on this site and you can view my compo entry by clicking the pic below. (I actually came second in the compo by the way!)
This site was first uploaded: 5th August 2000. Update info:- The Bits Grab Fest have been moved onto yet ANOTHER server so I've gone through the site making sure everything works. There were a few problems with the clips in the Video section but they have now been fixed and all the downloadable clips on the site should now work.
